THE DREADFUL DIARIES : Going to the fair....

I am enjoying this new found level of honesty on the blog. It can get very easy as a fashion blogger to stick to the news and only the news. You forget that people are reading this for the personal touch - after all, you can get your news from Vogue.com right???
I made it my mission to be more open and let you look into my life a little bit more.....which is great because.....I like it when you look!!1 While sometimes I forget about writing and posting pictures...I am getting better!
So where to start? I'm working on a new project at the moment with a group of girls from college and it's about journeys. I have to write something tonight on my personal journey - how I got here - how did I get here??? I think for me it started with the car and that kick started a series of events which changed the course of how things are. In January when I got hit by the car I started to question how happy I was with living in Ireland and my life. I realised that I was very qualified and very unhappy. Galway, as nice as it was, was really not suiting me. It was making me very miserable. I was so lonely there. So all the events which led to me sitting here typing this story come from there  - from the accident that changed my life - or at least made me more cautious about crossing the road!
Look at how sexy my boyfriend looks!!! The cotton candy is bigger then our heads!!!

But enough about personal journeys - I did make a journey last night - as far as the Goose Fair in Nottingham with the boy to have a stroll! I really really really enjoyed myself.
We had a proper little date night! We went on the rides, ate cotton candy - felt sick from going on the rides after eating cotton candy  and then we headed back to my place where the boy cooked for me! There is something very very sexy about a guy who cooks - mainly because they take over the kitchen and wont let you do anything so you get to sit on your arse and eat!!!! I am happy to report that he made a beautiful red curry and it was so nice that I still have some of it for lunch!!! hahahah!
We then went out for pints. Job. Done. Nottingham is a great place for pints and makes you realise just how bored you were of the bars at home!!!
Today however I have decided I am going to have a nice stroll around town and do some shopping for things and take some pictures - but all in my own good time. I am going to get up and get ready slowly. I am taking this Saturday for myself.  I've earned it!!!!

Besides, I have lots of writing work due for a magazine I'm working for and my voice test for radio tomorow - wish me luck!
