And so the chiclets and I arose at the sound of the alarm this morning. We finally went back to school, after being home for three days. It has been a nice three days.
Lots of movie watching, telephone talking, crafting, cooking, reading of books, and playing in the snow occurred while we were off from school. Minimal arguing between the children was much appreciated by the management. 
And even though I try to appreciate each day for what it is, I can't help but look forward to sunflowers from my garden resting on a child's vintage ironing board.
